Maps
Our book contains our own maps which are based on first hand knowledge of the area. We recommend walkers use these maps in conjunction with the official maps of the area some of which are detailed below.
Eden to Greencape: If walking this section of the coast we recommend the 1:25,000 scale C.M.A. Eden and Kiah maps. Brochures and leaflets from the N.S.W. National Parks and Wildlife Service would also prove useful.
Wonboyn to Mallacoota. From Wonboyn south to the border the best maps are the 1:25,000 C.M.A. Narrabarba and Nadgee maps.
From the border to Mallacoota we recommend the Croajingolong National Park Map by S.R. Brookes of Bush Maps Victoria which contains very detailed information on things like campsites and water points.
Mallacoota. The 1: 50,000 scale Mallacoota Vicmap would be very useful if you were planning a Mallacoota based holiday.
Mallacoota to Point Hicks. This area is best covered by the map of Croajingalong National Park by S.R. Brookes of Bush Maps Victoria.
Point Hicks to Cape Conran. While half of this section is covered by the Brookes map (above) it would be advisable to also carry the Natmap 1:100,000 scale Cann and Murrungowar maps.
Marlo to Lake Tyers. The Natmap 1:100,000 scale Orbost map is quite satisfactory for walking this section of the coast.
